Samsung is in fourth place
Apple takes a tiny fraction of the Indian smartphone market. The reason is simple – Cupertin’s smartphones are simply too expensive for most people in India.
Apple is the new leader in the Indian market. The company sold 27% of all TWS headphones in the country last year.
However, Apple has cheaper products. According to Counterpoint analysts, Apple has become the leader in the Indian market for fully wireless headphones last year. The source does not talk about the growth rates of any particular brand but clarifies that Apple was the leader in India throughout the past year, eventually taking up 27%. In second place was Noise with a share of 12%, in third – JBL with 8%, and in the fourth and fifth, occupying 7% of the market, were Samsung and Realme.
If we talk about the most popular models, these are AirPods, Realme Buds Air, Patron Bassbuds, Noise Shots X1 Air, and Shots X5. Overall, the TWS headphone market in India grew by an incredible 700%, becoming the fastest growing wearable electronics market.
