Apple launches Beats Flex, its most affordable wireless headset for just $ 49

New to the families of smartphones iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro this year was the exclusion of the usual power adapter and wired EarPods from the package (only the Lightning to USB-C cable remained). But Apple has released a fairly affordable, by its standards, new Beats Flex headset for only $ 49.

Apple Beats Flex

The BeatsX wireless headphones were launched three years ago as the first Beats product to feature an Apple W1 chip and a Lightning charging port. The headphones cost $ 149, but then the price dropped by $ 50. Beats Flex will completely replace BeatsX. They use the Apple H1 chip and replace the Lightning port with a universal USB-C (like the iPad Pro and iPad Air) for better interaction with Android smartphones.

Another plus is the battery life of the Beats Flex: 12 hours versus 8 hours for the BeatsX on a single charge. The headset in black and yellow will go on sale on Apple’s website on October 21 and will appear in authorized stores on November 20. Additional gray and blue paint jobs will be offered in 2021.

“I’m thrilled to announce that Beats is launching its most affordable product ever, packed with incredible audio technology from Apple, ” said Oliver Schuster, vice president of Beats and Apple Music. ” This will allow even more audiophiles around the world to appreciate the sound quality and design that Beats are renowned for.”

Beats also tout a patented multi-layer dual-chamber driver that delivers a rich, balanced sound with superior stereo separation. The company also promises to reduce ear fatigue, accurate frequency transmission, and an improved digital processor. The earbuds are equipped with a special material cable that you can roll up and throw in your pocket without worrying about damaging it.
