But it’s only on Geekbench so far.
The latest monstrous SoC Apple M2 Ultra, consisting of more than 130 billion transistors, lit up in Geekbench, where it showed an impressive result.
The platform’s 24-core CPU scores 1,956 and 27,945 points in single-threaded and multi-threaded modes, respectively.

In comparison, the Core i9-13900K scores around 2300 and 27,000 points, while the Ryzen 9 7950X scores around 2300 and 25,000 points. That is, M2 Ultra roughly corresponds to the top solutions from Intel and AMD. True, of course, Geekbench is a synthetic test, so it’s impossible to say that such a balance of power will be in any software.
How M2 Ultra will show itself in real applications, you can find out after the appearance of the first mass tests.
