Apple named the reason for the burnout of the iPhone 15 Pro displays.

Tech support blames iOS 17.1 beta

A Reddit user posted a photo of his iPhone 15 Pro Max with a burnt-out screen and also talked about his experience with Apple support.

An Apple employee claims that the iPhone 15 Pro Max’s screen is showing residual images due to the use of the iOS 17.1 beta version because “this version may contain some bugs that may affect iPhone performance.”

The user was advised to wait for the official release of iOS 17.1 firmware, which may fix this problem.

Apple named the reason for the burnout of the iPhone 15 Pro displays.

Users in the comments believe that this is a hardware problem, so it won’t be possible to fix it with new firmware. The author of the publication also recommends before it is too late, rolling back to the official iPhone firmware 17.0.3 and returning the smartphone under warranty.

Previously, Apple published an official comment regarding screen burn-in, which some users of the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are complaining about.
