It should make using the device more comfortable.

The more people test the Apple Vision Pro headset, the more attention is paid to its shortcomings. Many users feel that the device is too heavy, especially if you use it for a couple of hours in a row. Some also say they got motion sickness, but less than from competing headsets.

To solve the problem of the weight of the device, Apple has developed a second strap that is worn on top of the user’s head. But the company is considering selling this strap as an optional accessory, that is, it will not be in the standard package.

To sell the device, Apple plans to create new demo areas in its retail stores. The spaces will also allow buyers to choose the right size straps and a light seal that prevents outside light from entering the headset. The company is considering making initial shopping appointments, as it did with the original Apple Watch in 2015.

Apple is hiring thousands of additional employees to test the new product. Apple still only allows its senior engineers and executives to bring a product home, but this is expected to change soon. And next month, the company plans to allow select developers to get devices to start building apps.
