3D designer Ian Spriggs revealed an interesting detail about the launch of the Apple Vision Pro augmented reality headset, which took place just yesterday.
It turns out that in at least one scene a living person was replaced by his digital model. This was done to create a spectacular camera span right inside the Apple Vision Pro.
I had the opportunity to work with Apple on creating this digital person for the Apple Vision Pro presentation. The transition from live video to computer graphics occurs after the hand covers the face. Their team did great. It turned out pretty cool.
