It will be available later this year.
Apple, among other things, introduced the Journal app at yesterday’s event. In fact, this is a personal diary, but, of course, in a modern and digital form.
The application is indeed generally intended specifically for keeping a diary, but its main idea is that the smartphone itself will be able to submit ideas for entries.
The software will analyze data from various applications, including maps (geolocation), a music player, a photo and video gallery, podcasts, contacts, and so on, to mark some significant events in the user’s life. Of course, AI will help in this.
Apple reinvented the idea of a personal diary
For example, the application will be able to combine photos and videos from a trip and offer to write some kind of note about this. Relevant materials will automatically be added to the entry.
The user himself will be able to choose from which Journal applications he can take data, in addition, Apple has introduced a special API through which developers can add the corresponding function to their applications.
