Apple releases iOS 14.6, iPad OS 14.6, and watchOS 7.5 public beta
Even though iOS 14.5 has not yet been released to the general public, Apple has already begun public beta testing of iOS 14.6. The Californian tech giant released the first public beta versions of iOS 14.6, iPad OS 14.6, and watchOS 7.5 today.
Experts 9to5Mac have not yet explored all the new features of the operating system but suggest that iOS 14.6 includes a redesigned “Podcasts” application, which contains the functions necessary to implement paid subscriptions. An interesting innovation is the simplified transition from test versions of the operating system to stable ones through the “Software Update” item in the iOS settings. In general, the fresh firmware is practically no different from iOS 14.5, but it is assumed that it will acquire new features with the release of subsequent beta versions.
Recall that next week, and Apple will release a stable version of the long-awaited iOS 14.5. Together with its release, new privacy rules will come into force. Also, this version of the OS will change the voice of Siri and a host of other, smaller-scale innovations.
