Apple starts selling refurbished 2020 27-inch iMacs

Apple today began selling officially remanufactured 27-inch all-in-one iMacs introduced in August 2020. Their purchase will save about 15 percent of the cost, compared to the same new computer. At the same time, Apple provides a full one-year warranty for the devices and sets them in the same way as new devices.

As a reminder, the 2020 27-inch iMac comes with a 5KIPS panel. The screen is covered with nano-textured glass that prevents glare and boasts True Tone technology that adjusts the image to light conditions. The computer is equipped with 10th generation Intel Core processors, AMD Radeon Pro 5000 graphics cards, up to 128 GB of RAM, and storage capacities up to 8 TB. In addition, Apple has equipped the computer with a T2 security chip as well as improved speakers and microphones.

Officially refurbished 2020 27-inch iMacs start at $ 1,529. For this money, the buyer will receive a six-core Intel Core i5 with a base clock speed of 3.1 GHz, 8 GB of RAM, 256 GB of storage, and a Radeon Pro 5300 graphics card. The cost of the same new computer is $ 1799. In addition, more advanced configurations are available, but their stocks are very limited.

Apple says that all refurbished iMacs are thoroughly tested, cleaned, and packaged in a new box with new accessories. By the way, in the box with the 27-inch iMac, users will find a Magic Keyboard, Magic Mouse, Lightning-USB cable, power cable, and a cloth to clean the screen.

It is worth noting that, according to numerous leaks, soon Apple will present a radically updated iMac with a design like Pro Display XDR and branded ARM chips. Nevertheless, the 2020 candy bar will remain relevant for a long time and will satisfy the needs of many users.
