Sony also said that by the end of the year, some smart TV models released in 2018 and most of the 2019 and 2020 models will receive the new feature in multiple regions. The Apple TV app allows users to stream Apple TV + TV shows and movies, access Apple TV channels and custom iTunes libraries, and purchase or rent over 100,000 shows and movies from the iTunes Store.

It’s worth noting that the Apple TV app is also available on select Samsung, LG, and Vizio smart TVs. In addition, the service can be accessed from select Roku devices and Amazon Fire TV.
