Apple Watch Series 6 and the following iPad models lit up in EEC documents

Submission of documents for certification to the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has shed light on many new Apple products ahead of their official presentation. It is reported that identifiers of previously unknown models of tablets and wearable devices have appeared in the database.

Recall that, like other companies, Apple is obliged to inform the EEC about equipment using encryption technologies sometime before the start of its sales. Usually, in the case of Apple, this happens about a month before the products are officially launched on the market.

The device lists submitted to the EEC today include both the Apple Watch Series 3 and Series 5 running watchOS 7 that have already been presented and released to the market, as well as unknown smartwatches with the following model numbers: A2291, A2292, A2351, A2352, A2375, A2376, A2355, and A2356. Most likely, these are different versions of the upcoming Apple Watch Series 6. According to unofficial reports, the new Apple Watch will receive a blood oxygen sensor, the first mention of which was found in the watchOS 7 code.

As for the iPad, reputable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo previously reported that we’ll see a budget 10.8-inch iPad and a 9-inch iPad Mini this year. Unfortunately, there are no details about these devices yet. The new iPad is expected to be based on Apple’s A14 chip.

According to preliminary data, new Apple tablets and smartwatches will be presented in early September or later this fall.
