And not only with this

Apple seems to have accepted that it will have to make significant changes to some of its software products due to the new EU Digital Markets Act. Apple has reportedly already made the appropriate changes to the Form K-10 document regarding risk factors for 2023.

Apple will have to change literally the deepest rules of iOS.

Apple indicates that future changes it will have to make due to the new EU law will affect how the company charges developers to access its platforms, how it manages app distribution outside of the App Store, and “how and to what extent this allows developers to communicate with consumers within the App Store regarding alternative purchasing mechanisms.”

That is, at a minimum, Apple is preparing to launch third-party application stores on iOS, as required by the EU, as well as third-party payment mechanisms.

Let us remind you that the new law may also affect the iMessage messenger. Moreover, Google has already entered the game here, teaming up with the largest European operators.
