Apple will hold another presentation on November 10 – the announcement of the first Macs on branded ARM processors is expected
Apple has sent invitations to the third presentation for Fall 2020. The event will take place on November 10 online from the company’s headquarters (21:00 Moscow time). The slogan of the presentation was the phrase “Something else”.
What is planned to be shown is not yet clear. According to Bloomberg, the manufacturer plans to present new Mac computers based on its own production of ARM processors. If confirmed, these assumptions will be the first computers with processors entirely developed by Apple.
Apple CEO Tim Cook announced the company’s move to its own ARM processors at WWDC 2020. He promised that the devices will reach new levels of performance and energy efficiency. In addition, presumably, it will be easier for developers to optimize applications for the Mac system.
In October, sources said that before the end of 2020, Apple will show one of the laptops based on its own ARM processor. Presumably, it will be a 13-inch MacBook Pro or a 12-inch regular MacBook. The technical details of the device were not specified, but analysts believe that it may show better performance than devices based on Intel chips.
