iPhone 14 Pro has a 2.2mm bezel
The iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max are expected to have significantly reduced screen bezels. Authoritative source Mark Gurman from Bloomberg said that these changes will affect the iPad.
He claims that Apple will reduce the bezel size on the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max from 2.2mm to 1.5mm. Apple will use a technology called low pressure injection molding (LIPO) that it previously used on the Apple Watch. After introducing LIPO technology to the iPhone, Apple is reportedly looking to bring the feature to the iPad as well.
Apple will reduce the bezel of the iPhone 15 Pro to 1.5mm.
This year, two of the biggest changes to the iPhone 15 lineup will bring Apple closer to the iPhone of dreams. The standard iPhone 15 models will replace the notch with a Dynamic Island, while the Pro and Pro Max displays will be manufactured using a new technology: low-pressure injection molding, or LIPO, as it’s called internally by Apple.
This new process will reduce the bezel around the display to 1.5mm (down from about 2.2mm on current iPhones). LIPO was first used on the Apple Watch Series 7 to make the device’s bezel thinner and make the display larger. I was told that Apple plans to eventually bring this feature to the iPad as well.

Presumably, the iPhone 15 line will be presented in September this year.
