The title must contain at least two characters

As data scientist and Next founder Nick Sheriff explains, Apple doesn’t allow apps to use a single character as a name, so it won’t let you rename your Twitter app to X in the App Store.

“Twitter was able to change the logo of their iOS app, but not the name, as Apple requires app names to be at least two characters long,” added fellow Twitter user Eric Berlin.

Apple does not allow Twitter to be renamed to X in the App Store.

Some Apple users have reported seeing the “X” app on their iPhones or iPads after downloading the latest update, but the name remains the same.

In addition, it has been reported that Internet content filters in some regions, such as Indonesia, have begun blocking the x.com website, mistaking it for pornographic content.

Elon Musk said that the number of monthly users of the social network X, formerly known as Twitter, has reached a new high of more than 540 million people.
