Argentine airline starts selling NFT tickets

Flybondi said “the NFT ticket offers a more flexible travel experience” that allows passengers to purchase tickets in advance without having to define their travel plans. In turn, the airline can reduce customer service costs and increase its revenues by saving on intermediary fees.

Passengers can purchase fiat tickets through the Flybondi website, and a TravelX partner issues a synchronized NFT ticket in addition to a regular e-ticket. At the moment, the service is applied only on domestic flights of the airline, but in the future it is planned to expand its operation to international flights.
