ASUS hinted at the announcement of the compact Zenfone 8 in the invitation to the presentation on May 12
ASUS has sent out invitations to IT publications for the presentation of its next flagship smartphone Zenfone 8. It consists of a card with basic information and a transparent plate, apparently revealing the device’s dimensions. If the assumption is correct, the smartphone will be really compact.
On the face of the invitation is the inscription “Big in size.” However, according to the marks, a transparent plate with additional inscriptions is placed on top of it. When the labels are combined, the text is obtained: “Big on performance, Compact in size.” The dimensions of the transparent tiles that shed light on the smartphone’s dimensions are 148 × 69 mm. Thus, the smartphone will indeed turn out to be quite compact by modern standards. We are likely talking about Zenfone 8 Mini. Most likely, a larger model will be presented with it. The date of the presentation will take place on May 12 at 20:00 Moscow time.
Recall that, according to available data, ASUS Zenfone 8 will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset, which will work in conjunction with 8 or 16 GB of RAM. Android 11 will be used as the operating system out of the box. The device is credited with a 120-Hz display and a rotating camera block.
