ASUS to release two new laptop models for students
According to the resource Notebook Italia, ASUS has prepared for the release of portable computers P1511 and Y1511, focused on the educational sphere: they are suitable for schoolchildren, students, and teachers.
Laptops are known to use the Windows 10 Education operating system. This platform, combined with Office 365 ProPlus, allows you to personalize learning, save educators time, and take a student-centered approach.
The full technical characteristics of laptops have not yet been disclosed. The P1511 will come with an Ice Lake generation Intel Core i3 or Core i5 processor, while the Y1511 will feature an AMD Ryzen 3 chip with integrated graphics.
The devices are made in a ruggedized case. The narrow bezel NanoEdge display measures 15.6 inches diagonally and resolves 1920 x 1080 pixels (Full HD format).
It is reported about the availability of 4 or 8 GB of RAM and flashes drive with PCIe 3.0 interface, the capacity of which can be up to 256 GB. Officially, the price of the laptops has not been disclosed. But some chain retailers quote an amount of 400 euros for modifications in the minimum configuration.
