The abbreviation BTF stands for Back to Future, but it has nothing to do with the sci-fi film of the same name.
First, images of the Asus B760M BTF motherboard appeared on the Web, and now it is already under the full name TUF Gaming B760M BTF WIFI D4 is presented on the official website. Apparently, sales will start soon.
This model has a feature that distinguishes TUF Gaming B760M BTF WIFI D4 from 99.99% of other boards: on the front side there are only slots for RAM, a video card and expansion cards, everything else is placed on the back side – the one that is usually almost adjacent to case wall. Therefore, the designation of the board contains the abbreviation BTF, which stands for Back to Future.
Asus TUF Gaming B760M BTF WIFI D4 motherboard with topsy-turvy connectors coming soon
Asus considers the board almost revolutionary – it facilitates assembly (in a cramped case, try to reach the processor power connector), and the finished system looks much more aesthetic without extra wires. True, there is a question about the convenience of cable routing from the back, but, probably, Asus has thought of this point.
The board itself is compact, designed for 12th and 13th generation Intel Core processors and DDR4 RAM. The power subsystem is made according to the “12 + 1 phase” scheme. There are two slots for installing an M.2 SSD, one PCIe 5.0 x16 for a video card.
