ASUS unveils ROG Strix XG349C 34-inch curved monitor with 1440p resolution at 180Hz
ASUS has expanded its gaming monitor range with the ROG Strix XG349C, featuring a 34-inch UWQHD 3440 x 1440 21: 9 concave display.
The novelty has a refresh rate of 144 Hz with the possibility of increasing to 180 Hz, and the response time of the matrix is 1 ms (GTG). It claims 98 percent DCI-P3 color space and 135 percent sRGB color space.
Brightness, contrast, and dynamic contrast equal 400 cd / m 2, 1000: 1, and 100 million: 1. The horizontal and vertical viewing angles reach 178 degrees.
Supports ELMB-Sync (Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync), which combines Extreme Low Motion Blur (ELMB) technology and Adaptive-sync.
The monitor is equipped with a USB Type-C connector through which a laptop can be connected with a single cable. However, the KVM switch allows you to use one keyboard and mouse for two different PCs.
The panel has stereo speakers (2x2W), DisplayPort 1.4 and HDMI 2.0 interfaces, a USB 3.0 hub, and a standard audio jack. The stand provides height, tilt and swivel adjustment of the display.
Among other things, it is worth highlighting a set of branded gaming tools, GamePlus, as well as TÜV Flicker-free and TÜV Low Blue Light technologies to reduce eye strain. The price has not yet been announced.
