At the presentation of CES 2023, a lot of new products were shown, but among them there were rather strange solutions. One of them was Mutalk, a wireless microphone that looks like a muzzle. It covers the mouth and the entire lower part of the face.
According to Shiftall, this allows you to reduce noise by 20-30 dB so as not to disturb other people. At the same time, the system is able to remove external noise, but various video communication systems can do the same today.
“Muzzle” Mutalk is equipped with a moisture absorber, it connects to a smartphone, tablet, PC and laptop using a 3.5 mm jack. The battery is not provided. In general, the use of such a device looks very unusual. Note that at CES it was shown paired with a VR headset. It looks like this:
