As it became known, sales of the updated version of Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne since its release in Japan and Asia in October 2020 exceeded 250 thousand copies.

It is worth noting that at this stage, Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster has not fully revealed its financial potential because the re-release is still awaiting a western release.

As for Persona 5 Strikers, the action offshoot of Persona 5 has sold over 1.3 million copies since the premiere – before the release outside Japan and Asia, the game’s performance was much more modest.

Atlus decided to mark these achievements with a temporary price cut: both Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster and Persona 5 Strikers will participate in the Golden Week sale on the Japanese PS Store and Nintendo eShop.

The Western release of Persona 5 Strikers took place on PC (Steam), PS4 and Nintendo Switch on February 23 of this year – over 12 months after its premiere in Japan. The COVID-19 pandemic prevented the release of the game earlier.

Shin Megami Tensei III: Nocturne HD Remaster will be released outside Japan and Asia on May 25 this year on PC (Steam), PS4, and Nintendo Switch. Reissue performance will be limited to 30fps, even on PC.
