The main feature of the update, which is already available for download, was the correction of several intro videos: in particular, the developers added some gloss to some scenes and “re-shot” one of the episodes.

The patch also fixes several dozen bugs, including those that led to crashes from the game. A complete list of changes is available at the link above: be warned that the list contains spoilers.

As for the published statistics, according to the developers, since the launch of early access, Baldur’s Gate 3 users managed to pet a dog encountered in the game over 400 thousand times.

In addition, Larian Studios revealed which characters in Baldur’s Gate 3 gamers chose as their romantic partners most often: the most popular were Gail (33%) and Shadowwhart (31%).

Also, the developers told how many players died during the descent into the Underdark due to their forgetfulness – 40%. Slightly less than 6% of users tried to steal the ring, but 26% of the time ended up kissing a goblin’s finger.

Baldur’s Gate 3 was released on October 6 in Early Access on Steam (Windows, macOS), GOG, and Google Stadia. In the middle of the month, Larian Studios shared their experience of testing the game – the artificial intelligence Super Gamer tested it for strength.
