AvtoVAZ intends to produce at least 400,000 vehicles and car kits by the end of this year. This was announced at a meeting with Russian President Vladimir Putin by the governor of the Samara region Dmitry Azarov.
AvtoVAZ at the end of the year wants to produce abouat the same number of cars as in 2021
For comparison: last year, the company produced 220,000 car kits, and in 2021, 431,000 of them were produced. That is, in 2023, AvtoVAZ expects to reach approximately the 2021 figures. At the same time, production and sales should not be confused: last year, not 220,000 cars were sold, but 188,600.
According to Azarov, the most difficult situation for AvtoVAZ was in the second quarter of last year, and forecasts for the coming periods were much more pessimistic.
