AvtoVAZ is preparing to ship a small batch of Lada Vesta NG cars in the maximum configuration. This is reported by the insider public Avtograd news:
VAZ is preparing another batch of Lada Vesta NG cars, consisting of 20 copies in the top configuration, with a 16-valve engine, a vertical tablet, and a digital instrument panel. They are intended for use at the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum, which opens on June 14.
AvtoVAZ also resumed shipment of Lada Vesta NG cars, but they are still not being delivered to dealers: “So far, they are being transported only to the distribution site of the Major company.”

A couple of days ago, the same source said that such cars were taken to a presentation for journalists. Apparently, AvtoVAZ has not yet begun to ship the top version of the Lada Vesta NG in commercial volumes.
Yesterday, Sergei Tsyganov, who runs the popular insider Telegram channel Russian Automobile, said that, contrary to recent statements, AvtoVAZ will not be able to influence dealers that overprice cars.
He added that AvtoVAZ will not immediately be able to accumulate enough components and solve the problem with the firmware of the ABS unit and the engine. Probably, the concern will provide uninterrupted production of Lada Vesta NG only by the end of summer.
