Plans for the production of commercial vehicles will be more significant than in this year 2023 – more than 550 thousand cars. In order not to stop conveyors, the issue of returning to the old system, the so-called “chamomile”, is being resolved. But there is one “but”: if earlier the foreman brought a sheet with the proposed vacation schedule, and everyone could sign up for a month convenient for him, now the production BOTIZ will be responsible for the distribution of vacations, at least such a conversation goes on conference calls. This is preliminary information so far, everything will be finally determined in the fall ,” insiders write.
And here is an interesting point. For the current year, AvtoVAZ announced the production of about 400 thousand cars, but due to problems with the supply of components to the assembly line, production is stalling. So, in the first half of 2023, AvtoVAZ produced only 135,270 vehicles (and assembly kits). The company planned to expand shifts and produce cars overtime at night – from September , but now this plan is being postponed to November. According to the latest data, the release of the 16-valve Granta is postponed to September – there are also not enough components. In general, the facts so far indicate that the plan of 400 thousand cars is unattainable, even if Lada St. Petersburg produces 10 thousand Lada X-Cross 5 and starts producing Chery Tiggo 7 Pro and Tiggo 8under the Lada brand. And if even the current year’s plan is not fulfilled, will the enterprise be able to produce almost 50% more in 2024? This is a big question.
