To do this, they plan to introduce a second shift
AvtoVAZ is currently discussing the possibility of adding a second shift to assemble new Lada Vesta NG cars.
According to “Atypical AvtoVAZ” in the social network “VKontakte”, this will significantly increase the pace of production of the model.
AvtoVAZ is considering the possibility of returning the evening shift for line 1 in May, where the #LADA Vesta NG is currently being produced. Previously, it was planned for the summer. So far, the pace of assembly on this conveyor from the last month of spring has been predetermined – 40 cars per hour. Thus, the daily productivity of line 1 with a “classic” two-shift schedule will exceed 600 machines.
AvtoVAZ will increase the production rate of Lada Vesta NG several times
The source adds that today AvtoVAZ produces Lada Vesta NG only in one day shift, which lasts 8 hours. Just last week, less than 70 cars left the assembly line per shift, and this week about 100 cars are being produced every day. “Atypical AvtoVAZ” has already reported that the plant planned to enter the daily assembly of 120 Lada Vesta NG.
“Atypical AvtoVAZ” in the past was the first to announce the resumption of production of Lada Niva and the configuration of “Moskvich 3”.
