AvtoVAZ will pay 60 billion rubles in recycling tax

Next year the amount may increase to 80 billion rubles

AvtoVAZ President Maxim Sokolov told how much the plant will pay to the budget for the recycling fee in 2023.

“In December, we will have to pay 60 billion rubles from the advance to the budget… We will pay the state every penny,” Sokolov told reporters on the sidelines of the Federation Council.

He added that the payment of the recycling fee for the next year will depend, in particular, on the level of production, and may increase to 80 billion rubles.

Previously, companies paid the recycling fee every quarter, but now its payment for the entire year has been postponed to December.

Since August 1, the recycling fee rate has increased by an average of 1.7–3.7 times for passenger cars.
