AvtoVAZ has set an ambitious goal for the current year to produce 401 thousand cars. However, the company will not be able to achieve this: the production plan will be adjusted to 370 thousand cars. This, as the insider public Avtograd News writes, was announced by Vice President for Production and Supply Chain Management Mikhail Ryabov at the finals of the Quality Olympics, which took place on November 9.
AvtoVAZ’s global goal for 2023 will not be achieved
According to official data, AvtoVAZ has sold 283,464 cars since the beginning of 2023, which is 98.4% more than in the same period (from January to October) in 2022. Interestingly, in the publication with October statistics, the company did not provide data on the number of cars produced. Perhaps because production volumes began to fall due to new sanctions imposed by the United States against AvtoVAZ in September of this year.
