Bachelor’s Campaign for the Pestilence Remake. Utopia “will not be released in 2021, but will offer” a fundamentally different game “

Employees of the Moscow studio Ice-Pick Lodge, as part of the first issue of the “Old New Podcast,” spoke about the state of affairs in the company and plans for the script “Bachelor” for Pathologic 2 (remake of “Mor. Utopia“).

According to the developers, Ice-Pick Lodge is currently playing games outside of “Mora,” including earning extra money – finances from Kickstarter ended, and the main sponsor of the project left.

Despite the lack of money, members of the Ice-Pick Lodge team do not doubt that the final version of the updated “Mor. Utopia “sooner or later gets released. They call the probability of the game being released 100%.

At the same time, Ice-Pick Lodge will not rush with the development – largely because the team is tiny (each employee has several roles). Besides, the studio does not want to lower the quality bar.

The script “Bachelor” will not be released this year, but “work is in full swing” Ice-Pick Lodge has already said that the new campaign will differ from the gameplay for Haruspex, and now they have shared a few details.

The developers promise “a fundamentally different game” both in scenario (time will have a different role) and gameplay. The last change will be reflected in the mind map because the Bachelor and Haruspicus are two completely different characters.

Pathologic 2 was released in May 2019 for PC (Steam, GOG). In December of the same year, the project reached the Xbox One (including the Xbox Game Pass), and in March 2020, it debuted on the PlayStation 4.
