As Larian Studios clarifies in its microblog, so far the update is only available on Steam (Windows) and GOG. Versions of the patch for macOS and Google Stadia will be released “a little later

The patch is intended to fix several common errors and eliminate a number of crashes – for example, when creating a character and using some actions, as well as during dialogues.

In addition, in case of problems with the game, Larian Studios was advised to switch to DirectX 11 mode (this is done through the launcher), update the video card drivers and disable the Steam and Discord overlay.

In the next patches, the authors promised to fix the network component, with which many are now experiencing difficulties. The team is “very close to fixing several bugs.

“We’re thrilled with how many of you are playing Baldur’s Gate 3, and we’re delighted that Steam was finally able to host everyone. Our servers are doing it, but just barely! “, – the developers have shared.

Baldur’s Gate 3 is distributed through the Early Access Program on PC (Steam, GOG) and Google Stadia. According to Larian Studios CEO Swen Vincke, initial sales of the game were “insane
