Beosound Emerge supports Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast and Spotify Connect

Bang & Olufsen has introduced the Beosound Emerge wireless bookshelf speaker. This column looks a lot like a hardcover book. It is available in several colors.

Bang & Olufsen Beosound Emerge Wireless Bookshelf Speaker Looks Like a Book

In terms of construction, the column includes three emitters. One of them is a 4-inch woofer; the second is a mid-range, 1.45 inches in diameter; the third is a high-frequency one with a diameter of 0.6 inches. The mid-range and tweeter are located at the front, and the woofer is at the back. A 60 W amplifier is loaded on the low-frequency emitter and a 30 W amplifier on the other two.

The speaker is equipped with a microphone for voice assistant functions. The equipment also includes Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac interfaces. In addition, there are a 100 Mbps Ethernet port and a combined line-in and optical connector. The USB-C connector is for power.

Beosound Emerge supports Apple AirPlay 2, Google Chromecast, and Spotify Connect. The column allows you to use Google Assistant. It is possible to connect a second speaker to receive stereo sound.

The Gold Tone option with oak panels is $ 899, Black Anthracite with resin panels is $ 699.
