“ Agreements have been reached on the development of electric transport in the Republic of Belarus, a number of companies have agreed to organize the production of electric vehicles in Belarus. It is very important, I think that the issues of organizing a mechanism for the supply of technological equipment to the Republic of Belarus for the modernization of our enterprises have been resolved ,” Chervyakov said.
Unfortunately, neither specific models nor brands are reported. In Belarus, there is now a BelGee plant, which produces Geely cars. The electric Geely Geometry C is now being sold in the country, and the more affordable Geometry E will soon be added to it. It is possible that Geely electric vehicles will be assembled in Belarus. However, China’s electric vehicle market is gigantic, and there are certainly other options.
