Developers need time.
Christian Daley, Head of Austin’s BioWare Studio, appealed to users. He noted that BioWare Austin is involved in creating an updated version of the Anthem project, also known as Anthem Next. Daley previously participated in supporting and developing Anthem, as well as creating add-ons like Cataclysm. During the last year, the Daily read forums and social networks and studied player reviews about Anthem.
Bioware announced that an updated version of Anthem game will not appear soon
Now a small team of about 30 people is working on the new version of Anthem. They work out various ideas, prototypes and experiment in order to understand how to improve the project and redo its unsuccessful components. The Daily noted that this is a “quick process”, and when developing Anthem Next, the creators do not want to rush and are going to “return to the drawing board.” Therefore, the development of Anthem Next will take some time.
However, the creators of Anthem Next intend to actively communicate with the players and share interesting ideas with the audience. It is planned, in particular, to broadcast with the participation of developers and show “cool concept art.”
BioWare Austin is also responsible for developing and supporting the massive online role-playing game Star Wars: The Old Republic.
