Birds don’t steal ships: the developers explained why some players saw flying boats in Valheim

The incredibly popular survival simulator Valheim has already sold over five million copies. Simultaneously, the game is in early access on Steam and is replete with various bugs. One of them wrote a Twitter user under the pseudonym GliitchWiitch. She has heard from several players that the birds in Valheim are stealing boats. However, in reality, the bug turned out to be more prosaic. In a comment to Polygon, the Iron Gate developers explained what the bug was.

Due to a malfunction, the ship turned into a bird, only without changing the model. That is why it rose into the air and began to fly.

Recall: Valheim was released on February 2, 2020, on PC. On Steam, the game received 123,430 reviews, 96% of which were positive.
