Against the backdrop of such news, Bitcoin is likely to continue its growth since several well-known companies, banks, and investment firms are already taking steps towards the cryptocurrency market. According to The Wall Street Journal, the oldest financial institution in the United States, Bank of New York Mellon, planned to offer customers the execution of transactions with bitcoins. The Mastercard payment system said on Thursday that it would allow merchants to accept specific cryptocurrencies for payment.

Tesla also said it had invested $ 1.5 billion in bitcoin, resulting in a roughly 16% rise in the cryptocurrency at the beginning of last week. Twitter said Wednesday that it is considering adding bitcoins to its balance sheet.

Thanks to such steps, only this year, bitcoin has added about 60% in price.

Several of the big companies, including Morgan Stanley, have been skeptical of crypto in the past. For example, in 2017, Morgan Stanley analyst James Faucette noted that bitcoin’s real value is zero. At the time, Bitcoin was worth about $ 14,400.
