Blogger showed what the Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks like on PC in 8K and with ray tracing
YouTube channel author Digital Dreams specializes in enhancing the look of games through mods. He recently showed how realistic GTA V could be and showcased the Kingdom’s beauty: Deliverance beta. The blogger has launched The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild on PC in 8K resolution and with ray-tracing effects.
For his experiment, the enthusiast used a Wii U emulator called Cemu. He also installed a ReShade mod with Pascal Gilcher’s RayTraced Global Illumination shader, which provides real-time global illumination by simulating one of the ray-tracing effects. Whether Digital Dreams changed any graphical settings is unknown.
In the blogger’s video, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild looks much better than the original version. This is especially noticeable in locations with dense vegetation, which seems more detailed and clear. The draw range has also been increased, and the lighting enhances the game’s colorful landscapes.
Separately, it should be noted that the video does not show critical drops in the frame rate. However, Digital Dreams not only walked around the world but also participated in battles. However, the blogger’s PC is assembled from impressive components: ASUS TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3090, AMD Ryzen 9 3900X, and 32 GB of RAM.
