The transfer was commented on by Hardsuit Labs CEO Andy Kipling. Deciding on the delay wasn’t easy for the team, he said, but the studio puts the user experience first.

“Given the quality level we wanted and our ambition, we made a tough choice: we need more time. This means that our goal of releasing the game in 2020 is no longer attainable, ”said Kipling.

At the same time, the studio understands that the postponement of the release to 2021 will certainly become “a disappointment for many. ” At Hardsuit Labs, on the other hand, they are confident in the correct decision.

Additional information about the timing of the launch of Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, as well as some “other organizational changes that will help us achieve this goal,” the developers have promised to share in the coming months.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is being created for PC (Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store), PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. Thanks to the transfer, the premiere will now definitely be simultaneous for all target platforms.
