The company received four orders for business jets BBJ 787-8, BBJ 737-7 and BBJ 777-9
Geneva hosts the European Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition, and on the first day, Boeing received four orders for its top and most comfortable business jets.
Boeing sells ‘luxury flying villa’ for the first time
Who ordered the aircraft is not reported, but two orders have been placed for the BBJ 787-8, one for the BBJ 737-7, and there is an option for one of the newest Boeing BBJ 777-9 aircraft. The largest and most luxurious model in the BBJ range, it will offer its owner 342.7 square meters of space to accommodate the owner and guests. And what can be the interior, shown in the pictures below. It is noted that for Boeing this is the first “sold” BBJ 777-9.
Interestingly, there is no serial BBJ 777-9 yet. Boeing introduced the BBJ 777X in December 2018 at the Dubai show, when the 777-8 and 777-9 business jets debuted. Since then, the aircraft have not been certified: 777-9 certification has been delayed until 2025.
