As a reminder, QLED displays have a number of advantages over other types of displays. In particular, QLED technology provides high brightness of the screen and low energy consumption. Such devices are not subject to the effect of burning out pixels, which significantly extends their service life. In addition, QLED displays provide the highest image quality.

So, it is reported that the new BOE QLED panels have a pixel density of 500 PPI – dots per inch. For comparison, the 12.9-inch Liquid Retina screen of the Apple iPad Pro has a pixel density of 264 PPI at a resolution of 2732 x 2048 pixels.

Another advantage of BOE development is a wide range of colors. Provides 114 percent coverage of the NTSC color space.

Unfortunately, other characteristics of the panels have not yet been disclosed. It is not clear when devices with screens of this type will appear in the commercial market.
