And also up to 142 SJ 100 aircraft. Both models are almost entirely Russian
As follows from the presentation of Oleg Nesterov, Deputy General Director of the Yakovlev aircraft manufacturing company, 270 domestic MS-21 aircraft should be produced by 2030. In addition, the production of up to 142 SJ 100 aircraft, 115 Tu-214 aircraft and 70 Il-114 aircraft is planned for the same time frame. The presentation was presented by Nesterov at the Moscow Aviation Week at the Moscow Aviation Institute (MAI).
By 2030, it is planned to produce 270 domestic medium-haul airliners MS-21
It is expected that the MS-21 aircraft will become completely import-substituted next year. By the way, the creators of the MS-21 call it the most comfortable in its class and the world’s first narrow-body, medium-haul airliner with a composite wing. Now it remains to produce Russian analogues for another 36 MS-21 systems, including the auxiliary power unit, fuel and hydraulic systems. 33 systems are already at the testing stage. For the SJ 100 aircraft, 37 systems remain to be replaced, and all of them are already at the testing stage.
