This will mainly affect white-collar workers
Generative artificial intelligence will occupy more than 2 million jobs by the end of this decade in the United States alone.
According to Forrester analysts, by 2030 AI will replace 2.4 million jobs in the United States, with white-collar workers, that is, office workers engaged in various types of mental work, being hit the hardest. At the same time, AI will impact 11 million jobs in one way or another.

Overall, automation and AI systems will replace 4.9% of jobs in the United States by 2030, and 30% of them will be generated by generative artificial intelligence systems. Already this year, such AI will replace about 90,000 jobs, and this will amount to 9.3% of all jobs that will be occupied by automation systems in one form or another.
Analysts note that the higher the level of education a worker has, the greater the impact generative AI will have on his or her job. Wages will see a similar trend: workers who earn less than $60,000 a year will suffer less than those who earn $90,000 or more.
