California authorities announced the resumption of work of shopping centers, offices and museums. The situation was clarified by state governor Gavin Newsom.

“Shopping centres will only work so far in the mode of delivering goods. At the appointed time, customers will be able to pick up everything ordered on the Internet at the door of the store.

Before opening, the heads of each enterprise are required to train personnel to work in an epidemic,” RIA writes with reference to the Governor of the US state on Twitter News.

On May 8, several retailers, manufacturing, and logistics businesses began to operate in California, including clothing, bookstores, flower shops, and sports equipment stores.

Closed are still educational institutions, theatres and cinemas. Sanitary restrictions in California, as in all American states, were imposed due to the spread of coronavirus infection.

According to Johns Hopkins University, which maintains statistics on morbidity, the United States continues to lead the world in the number of infected people.

In total, over four million people were affected by COVID-19.
