Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is already full of cheaters, and prohibited software for the game is actively sold on the web

It’s been just five days since the release of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on two generations of consoles and PC. However, this period was enough for the PC version to be flooded with cheaters. The PCGamer edition looked through profile resources and found a lot of messages about unscrupulous users in the project.

One of the proofs that there are scammers in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is a video from a visitor to the Reddit forum under the pseudonym Sjoerd734. The player recorded the replay with the best moment in the round or in the match. The video demonstrates how a cheater kills his rivals using automatic aiming: his weapon is automatically aimed at the heads of opponents, and the user only has to press the key to shoot.

PCGamer journalists also found out that fraudulent programs for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War are already being actively sold on the Internet. The developers of cheats offer to purchase access to them for seven days, a month, or sign up for an annual subscription. Offers range from $ 15 to $ 80.

Recall: in Black Ops Cold War, as in the previous parts of the series, there are no third-party programs to protect against cheats. The developers try to block scammers on their own and rely on an internal security system. So, in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone, from the moment of release to October 2020,   over 200 thousand cheaters were blocked. And how things will turn out with Black Ops Cold War in this regard is still unknown.
