Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Zombie Mode Coming To Multiphase Outbreak Missions
Activision Blizzard and Treyarch have unveiled Outbreak, a new addition to the Zombies mode in the shooter Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. Four players will have to complete a task that takes place in the Ural Mountains in Russia.
As shown in the trailer, you’ll have to work with three other operatives to explore the area of the outbreak. After completing each experiment, you will need to leave the Dark Aether’s rifts or continue to enter them to complete new tasks.
Missions in the new mode consist of the following main tasks: protection, escort, extraction, and destruction. For example, you will need to obtain an intact sample of the zombie genetic code for Requiem, place it in a study device, and then protect the computer while it downloads the data.
For completing tasks, you will receive a lot of experience as a reward and three types of ether crystals, which are used to improve skills, weapon classes, and field modifications.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is out on PC, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
