Call of Duty: Warzone attracted over 100 million players in just 13 months
Activision Blizzard and Raven Software have announced that Call of Duty: Warzone’s battle royale has attracted over 100 million players. Apex Legends from Electronic Arts and Respawn Entertainment recently achieved this same figure.
In the first 24 hours, Call of Duty: Warzone attracted 6 million players, in three days – 15 million, in 10 days – 30 million, in a month – 50 million, and in nine – 85 million. The moment of release: the first anniversary of Call of Duty: Warzone celebrated March 10. It is noteworthy that it took a direct competitor – Apex Legends – more than two years to attract 100 million players.
An in-game event will begin soon in Call of Duty: Warzone, marking Season 3. It will entail a large-scale map update. Operation Rapid Sunder is set to begin tomorrow at 22:00 GMT. According to a recent leak, Verdansk will be covered with a nuclear bomb.
