In June, VKontakte launches the Car Customizer mini-application for collecting custom car designs, Kommersant reports.
The interlocutors of the publication confirm that the application will allow you to create a unique tuning for the car, and then implement your plan in one of the tuning studios. At launch, customers will have five options to choose from.
The application will include a car configurator, personal accounts for each of the tuning shops, and a “battle” feature that will allow users to compete online against other people on projects they have created.

According to the Otkritie Avto service, about half of car owners are ready to spend up to 100 thousand rubles on tuning. 12% are ready to spend 100-500 thousand rubles. Only 2% of respondents can allocate up to a million rubles, and a third said they are not ready to spend money on this. Of those who go for tuning, most speak of a desire to make the car unique.
Market participants note that the customization market is stagnating due to the cessation of the supply of cars and components. At the same time, they are mainly engaged in styling and creating body kits according to the type of those offered by the automakers themselves.
