CD Projekt RED Denies Leaked Cyberpunk 2077 Add-On Titles and Confirms DLC Plans
Polish studio CD Projekt RED, at the request of IGN, commented on the recent leaked titles of free additions to the action RPG Cyberpunk 2077 and confirmed its intentions regarding the DLC for the game.
Recall that at the end of last week, a user of the Reddit forum under the pseudonym PricklyAssassin reported that, thanks to a loophole in the Epic Games Store, he found information about the upcoming extensions for Cyberpunk 2077.
In particular, the enthusiast revealed the names of allegedly nine upcoming free add-ons: Ripperdocs Expansion, Body Shops Expansion, Gangs of Night City, The Relic, Neck Deep, and others.
The representative of CD Projekt RED assured IGN that he was in the name Network “are not DLC for Cyberpunk 2077”. The publication suggested that, in this case, we could talk about inconclusive headings.
Simultaneously, the studio does not abandon its plans for post-release content for the game: Michal Nowakowski, vice president of business development at CD Projekt RED, said in a recent report to investors.
“We’ve been talking about Cyberpunk for a long time. We haven’t disclosed details about titles, recommended prices, or anything like that yet, but yes, we can confirm that we are working on [additions]. They are in our plans, ” Novakovsky assured.
It was previously reported that post-release support for Cyberpunk 2077 would include both paid and free add-ons. The first, according to rumors, is being prepared at least three, and the second – at least ten.
