CDPR confirms negotiations with modders to include their work in an improved version of The Witcher 3
Recently, an enthusiast under the pseudonym Halk Hogan PL released the second trailer for the updated version of his HD Reworked Project modification for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt . In the comments, he said that he is in contact with CD Projekt RED regarding the inclusion of developments from the mentioned mod in the game version for the current generation consoles. And now CDPR has commented on this issue to Kotaku – the developers have confirmed that they are negotiating with the creators of fan projects.
CD Projekt RED’s statement reads: “In addition to our own efforts to produce the next-generation version of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt for Xbox Series X, Series S, PlayStation 5 and PC, we are also communicating with the creators of various mods for [our] 2015 game.
