In the Cyberpunk 2077 reviews, which appeared on December 7, many reviewers pointed to the poor technical condition of the game. Problems with animations, NPC behavior, crashes that force you to return to the checkpoint – these and other troubles were faced by critics who worked with the pre-release build of the action role-playing game. However, CDPR said that most of the comments have already been corrected, and the rest will be fixed by the first-day patch. In addition, Cyberpunk 2077 is “a different game” on the new consoles, according to studio representatives.
The corresponding messages in his microblog were published by the manager of CD Projekt RED for communications in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland Fabian Mario Döhla. In response to one of the posts, he wrote: “A lot of the problems that the reviewers encountered (and told about them) have already been fixed, some other bugs will disappear with the upcoming update. “
Then the manager explained why there were some problems: “We also had similar problems in Germany. Basically, these flaws relate to streaming – when the settings are too high for your configuration, the game does not stream some of the content and objects begin to disappear (animations, sound, lip-sync, and environmental objects). Adjust the settings and the project will be smoother. “
